During Panel 2 of the Mediterranean Innovation Agrifood Week, we addressed a crucial challenge: how to develop an effective innovation ecosystem in Africa to support young entrepreneurs and promote local development.
The discussion highlighted the opportunities and needs that emerged from the lab on the role of Business Support Organizations (BSOs), bringing together representatives from incubators, accelerators, and technology transfer offices from: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Italy, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Palestine, Tunisia and Uganda.
The meeting with the Italian Public and Private System helped identify possible strategies and intervention lines, fostering a constructive dialogue between Italian companies and the #Startup10 Community, created by CIHEAM Bari.
